Today, in a first for the Business Services Organisation, Counter Fraud Services launch their Facebook and Twitter profiles.

The use of social media will give CFS increased opportunities to engage with health service staff and the wider population of Northern Ireland, promoting fraud awareness activities, latest news, successful case results and useful counter fraud information.

SocialMediaLaunch

“We all have a role to play in tackling fraud. By increasing our online visibility, we will further raise awareness of the work we do in protecting the valuable resources of our Health Service. We want to encourage people to engage with us as we continue our fight to safeguard vital health service funds by detecting and deterring those who try to defraud the system” said Mark Harvey, Assistant Director of CFPS.

The new social media profiles are not reporting tools but designed to compliment the CFPS website which was launched in October 2013, with expanded content and online fraud reporting forms.

You can follow our work now by joining us on Twitter @bsocfs or on our Facebook page BSO Counter Fraud Services.
